proudly exercising my constitutional right to vote no

The cost of participating in the voting obsession for a microscopically indiscernible gain (if its even a gain) -- is a deal I can refuse.

I have not and will not cast a ballot in this election. Over the past months scorn, rebuke, and frequent raised eyebrows have been levelled for the simple expression of this intention. Its not a matter of not caring -- oh, I do. Technically I'm even registered in a battleground state! So how could I say no to choosing between dufus 1 and dufus 2? Remarkably easily!

Click here to watch a fine economist explain why he won't vote.

Interesting. Sort of explains why we have motor/voter drives. Get so many people into the mix that elections are won (or stolen)and many end up coming to the conclusion "why bother? My vote doesn't count anyhow."

  2. Clearly "anonymous" didn't bother to watch economist Gordon Tullock explain how your vote ACTUALLY REALLY DOESN'T COUNT.

God, doesn't anyone understand math and statistics in this country anymore? Oh wait, they probably never did.

Anonymous was making Tullock's point. Make it so every Tom, Dick, and Harry gets out to vote (regardless if they understand the issues better than the TV progpandists teach them) and now the pizza is divided into millions of pieces. Now it really doesn't count.

Maybe that is why it used to mean something: one person -- one vote -- as opposed to vote early and often!!

Even Mr. Tullock explained he would vote if no one else did. It's the sheer mass of votes that had him opt out, not the principle of the thing.

  4. Like I said, the inability to comprehend basic statistics is mindbogglingly.
